How to Set an MP3 as a Ringtone on iPhone

Do this all on your iPhone — no computer needed.

• Open Safari and go to the website with the MP3
• Tap the download link
• Open the Files app and go to Downloads to find the MP3
• Tap the file to open it
• Tap Share → Use as Ringtone
• Choose Ringtone or Text Tone
• Tap Done

Note: the MP3 needs to be 30 seconds or under, and this works on iOS 26 or later.

How to Set an MP3 as a Ringtone on Android

Do this all on your phone — no computer needed.

• Open your browser and go to the website with the MP3
• Tap the download link
• Open Files and go to Downloads to find the MP3
• Go to Settings → Sound & Vibration → Ringtone
• Tap Add ringtone
• Select your MP3
• Tap to confirm

Note: no trimming needed — Android lets you use the full MP3 as-is.
